Al-Lahab (Al-Lahab)
Meaning: The Flame of Fire (Gejolak Api)
Surah Number: 111 = 5 Verses   (Revealed at Mecca)   ▪ [111:5]

Tabbat yadaa abii lahabin watab
[111:1] Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish.
[111:1] Binasalah kedua tangan Abu Lahab dan sesungguhnya dia akan binasa.

Maa aghnaa 'anhu maaluhu wamaa kasab
[111:2] His wealth and what he earns will not avail him.
[111:2] Tidaklah berfaedah kepadanya harta bendanya dan apa yang ia usahakan.

Sayashlaa naaran dzaata lahab
[111:3] He shall soon burn in fire that flames,
[111:3] Kelak dia akan masuk ke dalam api yang bergejolak.

Wamra-atuhu hammaalata lhathab
[111:4] And his wife, the bearer of fuel,
[111:4] Dan (begitu pula) istrinya, pembawa kayu bakar.

Fii jiidihaa hablun min masad
[111:5] Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope.
[111:5] Yang di lehernya ada tali dari sabut.
